Have you been with Knight for the whole year and 4 months?
Because that does work in your favor that you have only ever driven for Knight and have only had the one rollover.. nothing else...

It is however a very top commandment if not one of the first three, thou shalt not roll over. Steer tires are not perfect but if they go.. they go. Im pretty sure I would be screwed also if I lost a steer in a certain time or two when you consider the 5000 pound load on that steer tire suddenly became something two or three G in a evasion manuver plus side wall loading. Kaboom. Over she goes.
If tire went out going straight... well. that is what insurance is for.
I would prefer to build a tractor that will take a roll over and protect the live of that driver or drivers inside that cab. There is nothing above that A pillar in most trucks made today. They crush so easy.BUMBACLADWAR, DoubleO7, BigTennOTR and 1 other person Thank this. -
Also, I am a recruiter and staffing agent not a dentist...
While I do not recruit from this forum.. there are employment opportunities on this forum... for example there is the very real possibility that an owner of a small company who is looking for a driver and would give a driver with a rollover a chance is on the forum and may see this thread... there is also the possibility that a driver for a company that may hire you in on the forum and reading this thread..
So.. giving them the information they need may help you.. you are asking for trucking companies that will hire you after a rollover.. which there are probably several.. but, there are also other factors...
1 months experience vs 1 year experience.. when you are asking for help it is best to give as much information so people can actually help you.. -

Ya, you may have a hard time finding something.
They will probably claim that it was driver error. Driver should have inspected tires during pre-trip to see if they were legal and in good condition, including proper psi in tires. I've been driving 17 years and never blew a steer tire and I attribute a lot of that to the above mentioned items.FireLotus Thanks this. -
Lepton1 Thanks this.

I have never allowed recaps on the steers. Ive tolerated them a time or two but before winter had them replaced with virgin retail. Usually get a year and change out of them.
I can only think of a couple steers that went bad and it's in the side wall belts.Lepton1 Thanks this.
