What makes you think it's white privilege? OP never identified himself as white; nor the officers race.
only feathers you ruffle is yours when you make blanket statements. World is a lot of colors, if you only see black n white you're missing most of it.

Ask the OP. Am willing to bet he is white . How do i know? Its just stuff that you have to experience to know.

Disrespectful but non violent, must be white.
Now lets guess his/her age. Victim mentality with drama, 35 or younger. -
Oh, for the love of Mike. Grow up, put on your big boy pant's, quit crying, and learn. You, and nobody but you messed up. You missed the sign's, and the fact that you caught it in time to pull over is what saved you some bucks out of your wallet. And yes, He did give you a break, since he could have ticketed you and pulled you in for the level one. And if they want to find something, they will. You could have been hit with numerous violations, and even may have found yourself sitting out of service waiting for repairs or a tow. Now, it is actually part of your job to catch everything, no matter how obtuse, badly placed, obstructed, ect.
And I'm sorry but no excuses allowed. And here's the thing, there's not one of us out here who hasn't messed up in some way or another, it's called gaining experience, you mess up, man up, take responsibility and learn and move on.

Welcome to the Empire State. If going east on I-84 you only have 74 miles and then you enter good old Connecticut and then you will think that you "jumped out of the frying pan into the fire".
Preparation H doesn't make enough to cover all the $ssholes in these two states.Big Don, clausland, j76ny and 1 other person Thank this. -
The OP got off lucky the state is broke and our governor is a crook....He is lucky not to have made a large contribution of money to this over taxed, over governed, and over regulated mess called NY.

"If I had a pea patch either in NY or CT. and a home in hell, I would pick my peas and go home"

Last wednesday I ran 84 to 17/86 and 390 up to our yard in Rochester with a pick up in Elmira mixed in there. From the NY state line to the end of my day there were 4 inspection stations open, not counting the one on the eastbound side near Tioga. They were in there HEAVY too. By the end of my day I was fantasizing about a driver class action harassment lawsuit.
