Auto hauling rates and facts for the dreamers

Then if you really mean what you say, you would go to the effort of finding a hotel so you can haul that extra car on occasion. In 30 years of mostly day cab trucking I have yet to sleep on the floor of a daycab because I couldn't find a hotel. Regarding the trolling part of your comment, don't post on a public carhaulers forum if you don't want carhaulers like my self to respond!

 

How come there is so much car hauling action in NJ/NY/CT on the 95 corridor? I go up to CT a lot and see tons of big and little truck haulers always heading north loaded.

On the note of equipment and car haulers. I saw a 9 car set up hauling a load of John Deere tractors the other day. Are cars really so bad ya'll have to resort to hauling farm tractors? It wasn't an independent, it was a major player.

 

Where was that at, thatwould of be interesting to see

 

Cooper and apparently tractors actually pay better. They are supposedly " back hauls"

 

I've come close once to sleeping in my car hauler. I've got a list of motels to avoid. Running freight I took many naps waiting on meet guys across the seats.

 

Hope they aren't getting back haul rates!

 

It was last week on 20 or 85 in GA. Looked like he had about 6 or 7 on. Probably more than they could get on a flat. I thought "hey why didn't I think of that"
