New-Need Help

My husband is signed up to a private school to get his CDL but we're having some problems figuring out companies that would be good options for him to apply to. Can anyone help us find companies that only do urinalysis and not hair follicle testing? I've done a lot of research and I am coming up empty except for maybe Celadon and maybe Trans Am and those two options don't look great. Any others?

He has no moving violations, no criminal history but his work history isn't the best because he's has medical injuries (back problems) that caused him to lose his last job when they wouldn't let him take FMLA to recover. Physically he is much better but wont be able to go back to warehouse work due to the physical requirements.

He is interested in Line Hauling, Reefer and anything else. No flat bed since it would be difficult for hjim to handle physically. He is willing to to OTR, Regional or Local whatever he can do to pay the bills. Home time every 2 weeks would be nice but if he has to be out longer to make the money than he is willing to put in the time for the first 6-12 months until he has more options.

He lives near Indianapolis or Louisville but could look at companies further away. He's very near the 65 corridor if that helps. Any suggestions on companies that would not do hair follicle testing that he can look into?


For those interested, we tried edibles (marijuana) when we went to Colorado like stupid tourists a few months back which is why he wants to avoid hair follicle tests for another 9 months until we are sure a year has gone by and he is 100% clean. I know some say they only go back 3 months BUT I've heard from enough people that some companies test further back that we both don't want to risk it. Other than that stupidity, he doesn't drink or do anything else so once this out of his hair he wont have to worry.
