Not wanting to retire but my body said it was time, I no longer need my radio gear. Can you guys suggest a good web site or some where to sell my collection of radios? Magnum S6, Connex CX3400HP, Cobra 29 LTD Classic and 29 GTL.

Keep your best,,you are going to work part time . I just met with . one of our part timers who retired at 70 and finally handed in the final notice at 78 years young. :)

Ebay and Craigslist are a buyers market and only for people willing to sell for pennies on the dollar.

If you post on ebay be sure to document serial numbers and take lots of close-up shots. Maybe even make a video of the unit powered up. I sold a pristine condition GPS a while back and some scoundrel had the exact same model that he had beaten to death and tried to claim the beat-up unit was what I sent.. Sadly for him my unit was registered with Garmin. Cover your a___

Why sell? Set up a base antenna and find a group of locals. and don't forget that even at solar minimum, you still occasionally get conditions.

Cbtricks.com has a Wanted & For Sale section populated largely by folks who know their ways around CB-like gear. QRZ.com is full of (mostly) hams, many of whom are professional techs. A ham ticker isn't required to join. Most buyers and sellers are pretty hardware savvy, but good deals can be found on both sites.

I been buying and selling on FB.

Craigslist seems to be a good place for bargain shoppers.

You can also just use the classifieds here.

This was my thought. As I continued to read through the replies here, I couldnt believe no one mentioned the classifieds section here on TTR. While members here may not be looking at the classifieds here on a regular basis, I'd start a thread on your items for sale & bump it once or twice a day to keep it in rotation for a few days. Seems like if members here see those radios for sale, somebody is gonna pick'em up. Just about everyone here has a need (or want) for a radio, especially some of those you have.
