New CDL holders have limited options to get their start. May is a training company. A driver could do a lot worse. Everything is relative. There's always a few "better options" (limited though they may be) and there's always worse options.

Maybe you could enlighten other readers where they should start their driving career [with the understanding we all have different home locations, goals, and expectations that may be different from yours]

Furthermore, I could go on and on about past companies dating back years and decades ago, but I suspect that things have changed [for the better or for the worse] and since I don't know, I don't comment about how things were "10-20 years ago".

It was winter blizzard conditions and he removed the "company approved" wiper blades caked with ice, and bought some anti icing winter wipers and turned in the receipt with his paperwork when he came back to the yard for his home time. When he got back from his home time, he discovered the winter wipers had been removed and disposed of and replaced with "oem" "company approved" wipers, and the cost was deducted from his check.

Idle..I have a pet so don't get charged but I still try to keep it low..I know of one or two that have though. Most do not from what I hear talking to other drivers. It's below 15% winter and 45% summer

If your a new driver its a good.choice in my opinion, sure you could find better if you have experience. They will give you good long runs and keep you moving if you want to run and keep it clean

This stuff about paying for wipers sounds like complete bs. I have never had any problems getting the equipment needed. Gave me some heavy duty wipers for Wyoming a few months ago

Sound like one of the worst companies ever. They give you all the miles and no respect. Respect is money, home time, and comfort.
