It's exit 47. Going west turn back over the freeway then right. It's the only thing there. It's my go to place for s 10. Quiet, big and dark and free wifi.

I have always got it in where it needed to go, so far anyways. It was sometimes just close enough though. I get out and look and sometimes I have to just start all over from the setup.

I think two of my problems are I avoid backing when ever possible. The second thing is I always have my tandems all the way forward when the weight allows. The further forward the tandems are the harder it is to back.

Ding ding ding!!!!! We have a winner!!!! You're making things hard on yourself. Those two things are easily fixed.

Whenever possible, I like having the tandems about midway between the two end points. Seems to make for a smoother ride and, yes, also makes it easier to back up.

I'm at the point now where IF I can get a good setup, I can back up successfully, even into a tight spot. My problem is that I still struggle to get good setups. Sometimes I'm too far forward, sometimes not far enough forward, sometimes too wide, etc. But I'm getting better.

Huh. The further back the tandems the harder it is to back. Takes more time for trailer to respond the further back they are. Thats why you always see 95% of flatbed drivers struggle. The hardly back, and tandems to the rear.

Been awhile since I posted. Still here, switched to northeast about 2 months ago. Live in delaware. The whole idea was to get home more. Not the extra money. Seems im getting home about the same as when I was otr. Thinking about going back lol. In wytheville about to take a boars load to the bronx for the first time with a second stop in edison, nj. So I look at the google map and doesn't seem to hard, I've been sent to much more jacked up places than this. Places where 53 foot trucks shouldn't be ( looking at you hill phoenix:mad: ).

But ya thats my day today. But seriously looking to switch back to otr. Putting up with northeast bs for no reason, aka more hometime ya right
