Just an update. Truck is still experiencing air conditioning failure. Apparently they are ripping it out entirely while I'm in school here in Greer. I hope this time it is truly fixed. They have all week.
I got here on Friday and the people that run the school set me up in the hotel and gave me the van so I have transport. Really nice people. I am suppose to pick everyone up in the lobby on Monday and drive them in.
I really think once I get the truck right I will be good. I like the way things run here and I'm hoping my luck turns around. So far it hasn't been the best but I think it's a series of unfortunate events and not the culture.
Quitting Trimac and heading to Superior.

I look forward to hearing about it. My company is getting sick of me rocking the boat.
19d Thanks this. -
The AC quit working in my Mack, too. So far it just looks like a bad compressor, but we'll see... Sitting at home until it's fixed, which is fine with me—I can definitely use the break.

I've had to replace 2 condensers on my Mack in the last year.

I'm late to the party, but welcome aboard! I love the Pasadena terminal, but unfortunately I rarely get to go that far west. Always do laundry there, lol.

Okay, three nights in and the A/C is working great. Training in Greer was pretty boring and rather pointless for me but I get that they have their standards and I got paid so no big deal. It's good to be back on the road. I like the way they dispatch here, it's out and try and get you back ASAP. Much different than the way I have been running.
Things are definitely getting better. I'm heading back to Pasadena now. Hoping to get a night at the house but I won't complain if they turn me around quick. I do need to wash some clothes though. Down to my last shirt! -

Ethos, where do you live around Houston? I grew up in La Porte.
