Pure sine wave inverter

I've never used a nu wave but was thinking about it for at home not the truck.
Changed my mind after reading reviews.
The bad far out weight the good , by so much that I said f that not touching it lol.

Yeah so far all the pdf brochures I've read indicate pure for the package that comes installed with a tripac evolution.

 

As as it's not for hats lol ( tin foil )

 

My inverter is branded thermoking, I don't remember if that's who makes the brand tripac or not. I know the inverter is 1800 watts. It does not power my oxx coffee box properly - it'll turn on and heat up properly (which is the biggest consumer of power) but it will not pump the water out of the machine. I emailed the manufacturer of the coffee box and they said I have to have a pure sine wave inverter. So I am guessing that the inverter installed in my truck is a modified sine wave. Really mad. The box used to work on the "old" inverter... I had the inverter replaced with the exact same thing (company truck blah blah) and now it won't work properly.

 

What size is inverter and how many watts is you coffee pot.
My little 5cup is 700 watts as it's pumping I'm sure it surges close to 1000
As I'm typing im looking online at a Mr coffee 12CUP at 900 watts that thing probably surges close to 1200 watts while pumping.

 

I do not remember, however, when they responded they said it needs a PSW inverter at 2kW. I understand peak and continuous wattage. If the coffeeboxx (yes that's its name) heats up just fine then I believe it's safe to assume that the inverter survived the peak wattage that coffeeboxx will throw at it. The strange thing is how it worked flawlessly on the old inverter but not this one even though it is the exact same thing.

The reason the old inverter was replaced was that it wouldn't recognize input power from the truck. The inverter was replaced then the new one exhibited the same symptoms. They then found a bad battery cell, and they also replaced a wire, and now the coffeeboxx won't pump water but it still heats just fine.

I'm hoping to get a good response from my shop today when I head in to start my week. I'll be asking them if they will install a 1800 or 2kw PSW inverter. Is there any sort of protection I can offer them so they'll go for it, like buying a fusible link or in line breaker switch? I know they'll be concerned if they're uneducated.

1450 watts yeah you need a big inverter lol
