It all depends on the person. I've been driving solo, on a dedicated account, for 2 months now doing 6 on 2 off. I don't think 3 months is unreasonable for a plane ticket and accommodations. That's just me though and i committed for a year.

Sorry bud. I pretty much took last week off from the cell phone and read a book on my down time for the first time in years. At least now I know I can still read. Comprehension is another story. I shuttled rolls all week anyhow, not too much exciting stuff to report.

 

I've been hustling and bustling. I got to go back in tomorrow even though it would normally be my day off because we've got mandatory resets for the holiday. They tried to call me in to pull one load today but I only had 5 hours yet and I won't reset until 0400

 

This is why it's dead in here. We've all fallen into our routines - nothing too see here, keep it moving.

It's been a long time since any newbies joined and stuck around. Schneider hasn't made any major changes. Wipper and the other ICs have stopped trying to figure out who the bestest IC is since they all became B/O. With nothing to stir the pot even crickets get bored chirping.

 

I hear SNI is really hurting for TE's maybe find swimmers from the deep end of the gene pool and those that went might put the hat back on

 

They're putting fwd facing cams even in new ic trucks...know someone who just got a trucks and it has it in there..
