I'm a bone head
Had some time tonight to look over my setup with the bookmarks I've saved from here.
My washer wasn't collar up on my mirror mount. Swr went from 3s to 1.5. I snipped a little and got it to 1.1 ch1 and 1.3 ch40 worried about taking more off because I don't want to go too far and be out of a whip. But more than likely I'm gonna snip again.
I'm maybe 25 ft from another truck to my right. The only place I have an open field to myself is another run I'm not doing this week.
I've been doing a crap ton wrong with this antenna thing. Hopefully in see a diff tomorrow when I head back thru west Memphis.
How important is it to not be near anything when tuning.
