Stopped buying them 2008 or 2009. Run mostly by teams, they tended to be shop queens. Between the truck issues and the fact that Schneider mechanics don't speak Sweedish and couldn't read the Volvo tech manuals they weren't a good fit.

Parked my truck at the Phoenix yard a few days ago, took a vacation at Newport Beach.
Got back to the truck today, and the Qualcomm was still locked up like it had been for days. Called in, got another work order opened up.
First guy glanced at it, tried to blame it on me not having the monitor mounted to my dash.
Then it had to be wiring because th monitor wouldn't come on. Told him it was because the unit was locked up. He refused to listen.
Finally, he unplugs the box. Plugs it back in and it locks back up after a few boot up attempts. Once again, he tries to blame it on wiring. Told him again it needed an antenna, once again he would not listen.
Told him Tech Support opened the work order for the box and antenna. He told me I could put it in the shop to have the wiring checked, but it would be a day or two.
Asked him why he couldn't just replace he parts that were on the work order. He told me again that I could put it in the shop.
That was my breaking point. It got a little loud, told him to just get away from the truck.
At this point I was ready to just run paper until I could get home, box up their junk and send it to them. Pretty much what I told them as I was calling back to support to inform them that the shop would not replace the parts.
Another tech meets me on the way into the lounge area, asks me about the unit, explained the symptoms, and he asked me to take it back to the bay. He looked up the repair history, and the work orders, told me he would have the parts on it within an hour and that should fix it.
So, parts finally replaced. Unit was activated by the time I walked back over to the truck.
All it took was completely losing my temper in the shop.QuietStorm, redoctober83, scythe08 and 2 others Thank this. -
