From my understanding some of the trucks in the fleet are owned outright by the company,others are leased to it. The owned trucks can be put up for sale(usually by court order) to settle outstanding financial obligations.
Anyway you look at it,nobody wins,it's a bad situation. Reminds me of the slow death Pan Am suffered.
