Oh boy, that sucks! After you deduct all your expenses, pay for your truck, there can't be much left to pay yourself!

I didn't see this response before...dude, in my prespective, that is ROUGH go of it to only be left with $1,300! You got a lot of risk, plus, as I have been saying repeatedly throughout the string, how do you save for your next rig?

Not a clue...what did they offer you? Hourly pay? Mileage? Percentage? Best thing you can do is find out who some of their more seasoned drivers are...look for some that are parked somewhere, ask their honest opinion...they aren't "selling" anything. Just be sure you are comparing "apples to apples", Hub Group is a big outfit, they probably have many different terminals and types of work. You might even want to post up a new string to ask. This one is kind of "worked over".

But, do let us know what you find out, and, if you do end up there, your opinion!

I don't think 1600 a week is good money for an o/o. A company driver with no responsibility can make that. You have to pay insurance breakdowns etc... 1600 is not enough.

Are you leased on with someone? Do you run under your own numbers?

That's what I been sayin! Besides what you said, Big Herb, an O/O needs to be able to save $ to someday REPLACE the truck he/she is driving now...$1,600 week gross, minus all those expenses doesn't leave enough to do that, AND live on!
