    Gotta get another 497 IMMA THINKING for that DX1600X AT Least That Radio Has A Fan In It. Talk on A HP40 OR 4600 TURBO FOR 20MINS STRAIGHT AND THEY BOTH WILL HEAT UP/RUN HOT...YA CAN LISTEN TO THE FINALS/PILLS CRACKLE

    The shops are getting more watts out of a 655 because that radio doesn't have upper/lower sideband. At least that's what many shops are saying ?????

    Talked to him today going thru las cruces another driver asked him what radio he was talking on he never said what radio just a customers radio he was shipping to Va. Only heard that particular radio about 10/11 miles tops. But I don't question things at certain times of the day. It can be hit or miss distance wise !!!!!!

    I could hear some others occasionally. There was some "big radio" from somewhere that just kept hollering at him. Mark either couldn't hear him or was ignoring him. He just kept on and was pretty obnoxious.
