Gotta love that last minute stuff, huh? Those are my "normal" hours of operation, LoL.

That tire mess sure looked pretty ate up; always happens when you're "almost" where you need to be. Murphy's Law of Trucking. :)

Surprisingly the tire that lost the cap never went flat. It beat the hell out of the fender a few times though. Mud flap was fine as well.

At least you caught a 'bit' of a break, LoL. Fenders are fixed much easier, apparently. :)

ps: that was one tough tire, holdin' it together for ya. I'd buy "that" brand from now on, ya know?

Are you even going to be able to get any sleep? When I drove for Thatcher Chemical , I had alot of those. You pretty much came back to work after your 10 off, regardless of when it was. Get off at 2pm, get rolling at 12am.

They still had to replace that tire. You also have to get a road service that will do it. I doubt Loves would have fixed it as well as these guys did. They beat on it with crow bars and sledge hammers to no effect before using the chain. I didn't even write up the trailer. The fender was back where it should be with only a couple more dents than before.

Those are pretty much my hours in the spring / summer. I sleep 2 or 3 hours when I get home, and try to catch a few more before I leave out at 0100 or so.

I have been home since about 8 Sunday morning and slept in a little this morning. Going to go to bed in a few minutes. Its only 200 miles each way and I can take a nap while they load me so not too bad.

My son got a beach house in Wilmington this week and I have Thursday and Friday off anyway. Might be able to head on down there a couple of days early.

    scythe08 and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Beach house and breeze sounds good right about now. I slept a lil' extra this weekend, too. Working in the yard in this heat... will do that to ya.

    Be safe, man!
