I don't think it's going to be the super power take over like I thought it would be. I ran into a guy that DM's and he handles a pretty big account, and he says he and many others are pulling their hair out over drivers falling off loads or being late with loads, and it's 95% HOS / e log related.
And he is talking about two of the super powers in the reefer industry.
There is always gonna be room for O/O. The shippers are gonna have to way up their game, which means things are gonna cost more to pay the detention or for the labor they will need to unload / load effectively.
As easy as it is to drive an auto with an e log, guys still gotta show up / wake up, and be where they are supposed to be.
Lets not forget all them youngsters are easily diverted, and Lord knows there is a truckload of diversions out there.
