I called that number and unfortunately, since I bought the device thru ABCwarehouse.com store, they could not activate it.

 

I got it from there too, keep trying! Not sure what's going over there, but it took me talking to a couple different people (even in the car connect Dept) to actually get someone helpful. She helped me set up the account, but I'm still waiting for one of the final steps to go thru.

I'm hoping my number will be active by the morning. They have to assign a phone number to the sim card. I'm still waiting for it to become active so I can accept their terms from att.com/tc and complete the process, and from what she said, I'll be all good to go from there. She did say it could take a while for the number up be updated to the system tho

I got one and ended up just taking it to an AT&T store (not an authorized dealer). Took 5 mins to get it set up. Works like a champ but some things to heed.

1) You better have good credit.
2). You need to tell them you have a car that qualifies.

Now I have no idea what does and doesn't qualify except my onstar vehicle did not but my older 2013 vehicle did.

You really have to find someone that knows the product and the car connect plan. I did find someone at Best Buy after several tries there. Be patient as this thing is great.

I tried to do that twice, and it didn't work. I got an email from them saying they couldn't verify my identity.

 

I got that same email yesterday.

That's after I did the ssn & d/l dance....smdh

 

My setup adventure has been fun thus far. To avoid the $500 deposit it was set up as a business account, after about 30 minutes he said it was set up and I was good to go. Got home and that was a big negative, no network access. The store I went to was closed at that point so I called the car dept. at at&t. after they figured out it was a business account I was transferred to the business dept. talked to one person then they sent me to another. After 25 minutes, the conclusion was, the car dept. cannot do it because it's a business thing and the business dept. cannot do it because it's a car dept thing.... (No joke).

The business side told me that they didn't have access to the unlimited car plan because it's normally done under a personal account and doing it as a business is relatively new thing. She said I need to go back to the store and have them fix it because they have more access to things than they do (I call BS). She said that she only has the 1g, 3g, 5g plans and that the mobley has a 5g @ $65 a month sim in it ...dafuq
