I don't know what you tasted, but it wasn't the real deal. Keeping an eye out for all possible troubles to come your way on the road includes watching that ramp for merging traffic and preparing for it. I always slow down a bit and move over when safe to do so. Why? Because I drive defensively. You should get acquainted with the Smith System.
I got a taste of what it's like to be a trucker yesterday

If you flip back at the driver, you run the risk of encouraging more road rage, potentially causing a serious accident, possibly someone getting killed. It is NOT worth it!!
If I could eventually be able to pass the D.O.T. physical, I am HOPING to be able to eventually go to a truck driving school to learn how to drive a truck. I am HOPING to be able to drive OTR, possibly to all 48 states and Canada.
In the mean time, I am working VERY HARD to correct every bad habit that I have ever acquired, along with NOT letting other drivers attitudes or gestures bother me. It can be done.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
OTR & LTL - over the mountains - through the woods - coast to coast - sea to shining sea
The OTR & LTL truck drivers of America are positively the driving force of our economy.Kyle G. and Just passing by Thank this. -
For the past year or so, he's been "trying to get on with Roehl".
OP, the fact that you haven't got on with ROEHL yet, coupled with both your tendency towards road rage, and your tendency to get combative on TTR with anyone who questions you, makes me think you might be trolling.
Several posts back you were homeless. If you still are, get your CDL through Roehl and get on with your life and career. You have nothing to lose.HalpinUout, Diesel Dave and gokiddogo Thank this. -

A short story about people and their cars. Was pulling a mountain grade, 2 lane with a COE 350 Cummins and triples. No passing for 5 miles. Got to the top and pulled over to let traffic by. One guy honks and waves the next guy honks and flips me off. Moral of the story, people are crazy. If you don't have thick skin your headed for a heart attack or jail.
