My point is my truck is ONLY ten years old. She is still a baby. You guys act as if it's a dinosaur lol. Yet there is a state that I cannot run. You can say it's just CA and it won't happen anywhere else all you want. Maybe your right. Surely if CA is going to affect interstate commerce then they should stop accepting federal tax payer money for road projects. By the way, I am no fan of ELDs, but CARB is a true Constitutional issue. I just wish the industry and drivers would choose their battles more wisely.

I've not heard anything of that happeining in Ohio, but then again, I'm not an O/O. My 'assigned' truck is a '94 Pete... and I love her. Then again, I don't go to Cali. :)

No it's not happening anywhere other than CA yet. I was just using examples. Let's say NC adopts CARB like mandates. It would essentially shut off 95, 40, 85, to hundreds of thousands of trucks. It's just hypothetical. But if and when it does happen we need a organization who can at least argue a clear and Constitutional case. It just seems to me you beat these issues before they become a issue. CA is letting us know they are coming. And before anyone tells me it could never happen in NC remember they can't even decide what bathroom people should use.

Good point; you sent it home with the last sentence. And yes, I agree with you, totally. Why chase an old pony, when you can ready the new horse. Gotcha, totally.
