is this marathon over lol
-
Marathon is over.... Currently working with it right now. Had to replace injectors. Shop said they couldn't bleed the injectors with the ESOC primer they had. So. After $5700 to fix that and another $1500 to re flash my computers since Detroit updated my comps and erased my emissions delete, I'm back out in the field.
-
So your injectors went belly up?? Hmmm...
-
They just got air in them and apparently they couldn't get the air out. So future warning if you plan to do anything with the fuel system on these injectors.

sounds like a motor to stay away from

I am with you Rocketyman. I also say Hmmm...
RocketyMan Thanks this. -

Upsold or not. They fixed it, and I couldn't. So what was I supposed to do? But it's a good engine when it runs. But it's by far the most expensive engine to repair between all the Detroit's and cat's I've owned. Not worth Detroit's guarantee million mile before overhaul.

Is it possible that dry firing the injectors screwed them up? I haven't run into many issues with common rail so just asking for future reference.
