Difference is that credit report, unlike DAC, can be:
- disputed, which puts the contentious item in suspension while you sort things out
- dings do not keep you out of a job.
- earning a living is more important than denial of credit
So yes, DAC blemishes have a higher negative impact on a person than cresit blemishes.timd1978 Thanks this. -
Either way I agree that DAC is BS. I mean you don't have a report that follows you around in any other field, so why in trucking?G13Tomcat Thanks this. -

Does anyone know if Cc hires from Washington State?

You have a right to dispute any item in your DAC report and you can submit your own statement regarding an item if it is not removed. Anyone requesting your DAC report will also be given your statement. For virtually all purposes DAC Report is treated the same as a Credit Report.
Challenge the item instead of accepting defeat and making excuses. -
@tscottme
Challenging the DAC is not an issue (though, I wonder how many drivers check their own DAC, before applying @ another job)
The issue is that once the reported "crap" (real or not) in inserted by the reporting company, it already sets off a biased view by the next clients that read it. Undoing the damage is hard....just like Comey's Letter.
So...all I'm saying is this: You can challenge DAC all day, insert counter-statements etc...but its gonna be an uphill battle from there on...AND the companies know it.
