Put an online application in with Schneider this morning. They called and verified my info within a few hours. I'm speaking with the Bulk recruiter next Friday. Already have a conditional job offer. Must pass school, drug test, background, etc. to get hired. Of course, using the military apprenticeship program

Ok so I just finished being out on the road for 21 days. (May 30th - June 20th) This was a descent 3 weeks worth of pay, bout what I seem to make on average always. Two really good weeks of pay and one ok week. My gross pay for all my 21 days of pay was 4,601.23 , this is at my current 46 cpm rate. I'm currently at home taking off 6 straight days. I was thinking this was a months of pay but after I finish my time off I will have 4 left to work to actually make it 31 days. So it's safe to say another 900 dollars I will make easy in those 4 days starting with a fresh 70. So my total gross income per month working at snbc taking off only the recommended amount of days per month ( 6 ) is 5,501.23 X 12 months will put me at 66,014.76 per year. Now this does not include bonus pay I can get for each quarter. I never get my bonus pay because I don't fuel where I'm suppose to. I'm working on this though and plan to start getting the quarterly bonus pay soon. Because it should be another 600 dollars every 3 months I'm currently missing out on. If I do start making my bonus's it will have my yearly gross around 68,414.76 a year. This is based on my 46cpm pay rate monthly averages and taking off the allowed recommended 6 days off per month. The month I just based my pay on was a 31 day month, some will be 30 days and feb only 28. So keep in mind the numbers are not perfect, this is just the closest I can get to being accurate at the moment. My best guess at the end of the year is I will be between 63k and 67k annual gross. Because I did not make my first 2 quarterly bonus's and I sometimes like to take off 7 or 8 days off a month. This is still good money I believe for a rookie truck driver to be making. It can only get better year after year.

Got the interview with the recruiter in the morning. Will be taking my Tank and HAZMAT endorsement tests afterward so that I can get them immediately after passing the driving portion. They are good for 90 days, so I can do finger printing and other things as I go. Yeah, it's a little backwards, but I figure I might as well get them done while I have the time.
