Seriously, how do you know if you are communicating with a stock radio? Here we go again, what do you do ask everyone if they have had their radio hacked and ruined?

BTW, he can't find his jumper for the meter. I was going to see if I can find one locally or make one, if I can find the connectors anywhere. I'll need to see if I can find any RG-58. If not, can I make a jumper with sime old RG-6 I have laying in my garage?

No, it should be RG58 for the jumper. Any truck stop or Farm/Fleet store will have one.

Peak n tune for the most part makes lil difference other than what you brag it does..Most times stockers do netter than 95% of these so called techs who do this peak n tune.....Op..Google the oeak n tune myth and make your own judgements..
A peak n tune on a basic conra is just a quick $ grab for a shop, most times they make it worse..

Unless your bumpin a few hundred watts a 10k is a waste of $$$....Only difference in a fibreglass ant and a big ext coiled one is power handleing...Mind you i love my 10k's but in my case a 7ft skip shooter works better..

    You guys tell me something.

What is the SWR on a 75 ohm feedline and antenna with a 50 ohm radio?

What's really pathetic is the fact that I took a semester of electronics in high school... can't remember a dang thing from it.
