I'm thinking the stress exuded by Mary, was absorbed subliminally, by you, sir. Trust me, it happens out here. Once you DO have your "own" confidence paradigm.... which WILL come, you will tune that frequency out. As many of us do on the CB, in truck stops. It's all just jibberish... only good for being on the road, for "warnings" and such, of upcoming issues, or other malcontents, LoL. Driver side offset is one of the most frequently used, in the real world, so at least you've gotten that. The rest WILL fall into place, man. Especially when you get in with J&R, and go on your training voyage.
Hang in there, man. You pretty much KNOCKED your PTI OUT of the park~!
The "off" feeling you had, was THEIR stress vibes that you somehow absorbed. Sorry about that.... Tomorrow's a new day~!
Remember my words. Read some other guys' diaries and such on here; none of us were BORN with twin sticks, 18 Eatons, and what not in our hands.
Wishing you well; you seem to have the wherewithal to do this, from reading your diary.
Florida heat and humidity is not your friend; I get that, as well. Rest it off in front of the A/C, you deserve it!

Today was an action packed, truck breaking down kind of day.
The morning started off good. I did my pretrip inspection and assisted my classmate with his since he did not pass. I was asked to help him out and offer advice on how to pass.
I started driving around 8 and worked on my backing maneuvers. I took my break around 9:45 ans started driving again shortly after 10 ... again working on my backs. Just before lunch my truck broke down ... a warning light came on and it just shut down. I went inside and told Laura and she came out and was able to get it restarted but it died almost immediately again. We let it sit during lunch and it would not start afterwards. The problem is it was in the way ... we could not get around it. She came up with a plan to push it .... this where the fun part of the day came in. She got in the other truck and turned it around and backed into the broke down truck. I climbed in the broke down truck and held the wheel straight and she pushed it about 50 feet where it would be out of the way.
She called the repair shop and told them they needed to send a tow truck and pick up the peice of junk and fix it. She just spent a bunch of money getting it fixed a few weeks ago .... she was not happy.
She let me get a different truck and I continued my backing practice for the rest of the afternoon.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -

Was the name of her old company Lester Coggins? They were that one I told you about in Opahumpka (sp?) but I don't think they are around anymore.
