I'm thinking the stress exuded by Mary, was absorbed subliminally, by you, sir. Trust me, it happens out here. Once you DO have your "own" confidence paradigm.... which WILL come, you will tune that frequency out. As many of us do on the CB, in truck stops. It's all just jibberish... only good for being on the road, for "warnings" and such, of upcoming issues, or other malcontents, LoL. Driver side offset is one of the most frequently used, in the real world, so at least you've gotten that. The rest WILL fall into place, man. Especially when you get in with J&R, and go on your training voyage.

Wow, a female flatbedder......good for her! Sounds like a feisty one, for sure. You lucked out, man. I had a female trainer back in 2000 and she was a ball of energy! I liked her BETTER than the male trainer at the academy; she was much more thorough, and when some of the guys didn't grasp a concept, she'd explain it another way, until they did. I had already been driving and had my CDL at that point, just had to "recertify" because of the company I was going with at the time, so I kinda just sat back and enjoyed the show. Wonder if it was the same lady, LoL. The one I had always "said" she was moving to Florida, LoL. Too bad I don't recall her name, though.

 

North Carolina is gorgeous. Wife's fam has a cabin in Lake Lure....love it!! Was the name of her old company Lester Coggins? They were that one I told you about in Opahumpka (sp?) but I don't think they are around anymore.
