I feel the next few months are gonna be very interesting. Everything is changing, moral with the veterans is rock bottom, we're on a hiring freeze until after the 1st of the year, after they said they'd be hiring every quarter. My buddy whose a 28yr veteran at Menomonie said they're doing away with his 3/2 and making him slip seat, our set runs are going away. I've heard all the rumors, I guess I've been here too little of a time, and remember how real hard work pays very little, except in the oil fields, where you earn it, but it's definitely there. I signed on to do whatever I'm asked for the time I put in, I don't care when I work, where my 1st load goes, or what truck I drive when I do it. I've driven and owned the largest large cars, and made more money than I make here, but I've never made it so easily as I do now. I hear the veterans complain, and I just say wow. They're gonna leave with only 2yrs to retirement, I call b.s., go somewhere else where you'll have it this easy. 49 days of paid time off!!! I'm green and have 25. Where you gonna go and have that? I know it's changing, and for the worse, but my worst day here isn't anything like anywhere else. I left a $120,000/yr job to come here, but trust me, I earned it and then some. I have yet to call my wife and say how much I hate my job since working here. I wish no ill effect or wishes against anyone who has all those years here, and I'm talking 20+, trust me, I know things are changing. They always do. I still get paid for all I do, (except waiting at my home D.C.), I still make a ton for working legal, (that's a 1st), but after 26 yrs otr, I know 6 months from now, what days I'll be off, I know when I start, I'll be home on a certain day, I know my insurance isn't cheap, but far reaching, and like tonight, when I get a call that my mom took a turn for the worse with her dementia, I can call, take a paid day off and her nothing but well wishes from my office. You can't put a price on everything. I've found my home, as long as they will keep me, which could end tomorrow, lol. But it's an easy gig. And again, I hold the veterans with the highest amount of respect, no disrespect intended. It would suck to put your dues in and then have your benefits taken away after putting in all the time in to earn them taken away. Just wanted to vent a bit here I guess. Been kinda quiet, thought I'd stir up the pot. Be safe bros.

Couldn't have said it any better than that. Interesting about the hiring freeze we cant seem to hire enough, I was #179 the day I started orientation and as of yesterday I was #165 at the least, and that's since Feb. Prayers on your Mom.

Can someone explain the messages that come over the Qualcomm. Don't know what manageable outbound volume at the rdcs, inbound remains busy, we will prioritize the inbound by the cdd. What is cdd? And rdcs?

Cdd is carrier due date, the date the freight is due to be delivered. Suppose to pick up and deliver the same day.
