    I have 4 general options near where i wish to move to. They are food service with sysco and merchants, ltl with just about all major companies but my main ones are sefl, tcw and ups. Then i have furniture options like zenith, brooks dehart and ashley. Also home daily gas/fuel trucks. What offers the best hometime and pay

    That would depend on alot of factors, union or not, shift differential for night work, higher pay for tank/hax ect.. whats more important is their retention rate

    That would be your best bet, I agree with S/B. You could also stop by the "random LTL rants..all welcome" thread...and post a few questions there. @Mike2633 and Bob D have a lot of good info.... so does Mack, and Road Runner. Keep us posted. I'd rather do foodservice/LtL over bedbugging personally (were I your age, LoL....) but opinions may vary.

    I like ltl and food service but i also like the furniture idea because its not unloading hundreds of cases a day
