The warmer the caustic is, the better. Stuff freezes at 54 F, so hauling it during winter here in Maine can be fun. It weighs 12.8 lbs per gallon, so it is heavy. I normally haul 5000 gal in a 5400 gal trailer, so surge isn't too bad. We do have a few 7000 gal trailers and I've had the pleasure of using one for awhile. 2000 gal of empty space is a lot of room for 63 k lbs of product to get moving. It's much cleaner than asphalt, but you have to suit up.

This city aint for everbody, acquired taste I guess.
Just got to expect the worse and then its eaiser to deal with. People hear know how to drive they're just alittle suicidal at times, I just sit back and run the right lane and know what to expect

I used to run "your land" all the time in my early days; nobody else wanted the lanes, and I got the premium, LoL~!

Its all about trip planing, I know sometimes you cant choose what time your going thru or delivering.
I sit in heavy traffic often and listen and respond to all the cb chatter bitc#ing about this cities traffic. Imo Chitown is pretty far down on the list of worst city traffic problems. Usually its the mega elog drivers doing all the complaining.
