So I'm sure I will get a bashing for this but I worked for a company out of trucking school doing local delivery. My employment was thru a temp agency. I was smoking bud on weekends and using synthetic urine for tests. I ended up getting called for a random and flushed my gaurenteed clean test. Had to retake and didn't have synthetic again. I failed and quit immediately and will never risk that again. Heres where things got confusing. They never reported to DAC at all. Nothing. They are on my psd but no failed test info. I couldn't afford SAP and got a seasonal job driving straight trucks for a horrible company and they never found out about the failed random. Now I'd like to get into an 18 wheeler again but can't get any answer on whether or not this dirty little secret is going to come to light. I'm still too broke to afford SAP and now have a child on the way so would really like to make decent money again so any input on whether or not it might be worth the risk would be helpful. And yes I'm a ####ty person for using an illegal drug and putting my career at risk. And no i never drove high because i am dumb but not retarded.

You quit the job so if you must list it list reason for leaving better opportunities or something of that nature you quit so chances are the secret will stay a secret

Dac isn't the problem. A thorough vetting will be. There is a record of the failed test. Also the gov. Is mandating a data base now, for all failed test. You may can get away with it idk. However In the future you will not be.

You can always attend a drug class. That is all that is required by law. Insurability/ hireabilty is an entirely different question.

I do plan on doing SAP in
Well i was able to get insured to drive a class b truck. And i do plan on doing SAP asap. So I guess I might be alright for at least a month or two until I can get that done. Took a major hit financially from this situation though and still recovering.

At this point it sounds like the company you failed at never reported it...
Nothing to worry about at any DOT inspection or scale...

Sounds like you got lucky, slipped through the system and dodged a HUGE bullet..... so get back on the road and NO WEED!

DO NOT call a SAP place!...Then your DL number will be tagged with a failed test! I know a driver that done this and it screwed him at ever getting hired again...He found out later the company never reported it so he screwed himself with contacting a SAP program.
