Cust didnt have room in the tank for the product, so I took it back to Cincy. I'll bring it up Wednesday afternoon and do a second run like I had planned.

For some reason I stayed out working during the 4th. Was a mistake I knew I was making. I sit in Coraopolis PA from sat evening to Monday evening with no work. Got a compartment trailer at Nalco down the street their Monday nite and drove all the way to bennettsville SC that nite. Unloaded rear compartment at domtar paper mill in bennettsville today at 3pm. It was scheduled for the 5th actually. Now the phosphoric acid I have in front compartment doesn't unload till Friday sometime. So instead of sitting around in truck I parked in Charlotte and just went home till Friday. I will go unload the acid Friday morning at duke energy in Salisbury nc. This is my first phosphoric acid to unload. Will I be good in just pickle suit and boots or do I need the respirator also. I don't plan on breathing any in and probably want need to even open the top when done. It's a compartment and small so I want have heal. Just curious what you guys think about this stuff and PPE you normally wear for it. I'm still a rookie and rather ask questions to get answers from ya hope ya don't mind. And hope you and the family's had a great 4th of July holidays.

I'm in bed and am too lazy to stand up and get my tanker book off the shelf above my head, but looking at the SDS, it says use a respirator if you aren't in a well ventilated area and the process may produce misting or vapors. But it doesn't c one out and say PUT IN ON!!!! I see strong comments on how corrosive it is.
Doesn't SNI have a hazmat hotline? Or was it just for dryvan?

St. louis unloading and back to Cincy. Nice suprise when I came in the yard at 2 am to find out I had a flat tire on mu truck. Trying to find an open shop on holiday was tricky. Passed Petro and Love's that had their shop closed until 6 am. Finally Love's on the west side of Indy had a night shift tech on duty and was able to replace it. There goes my profit on this run lol

No, it's benzylakyl something something...it has sulfuric. Running between the P&G plants in Cincy and Lima. There are two products and 3 companies running 1-2 trucks and we all use the same rack at both ends. It's easy because the no touch, but the wait times can be awful. I've spent +/- 6 hours at the Lima plant but lately its been in and out in just under 2.
