Well how about a 96 5ek. It should be a 40 pin, and they were built 375 to 550 horse. Everyone wines about what I have so I was wondering. Would hold together at 550 or not? The deck surface was one of the problems I was told about.

What's. The. Life span of. The 6nz
( How many miles wth out overhaul ) -
Depends, how you take care of it and how well it was built. Any of the 3406E models were capable of going over a million miles.

What's up Superhauler how you been man?
6nz-3406E- 3406B. All fantastic motors. They are what Cat built their name on. May be a few more years until we come across any motors that are that reliable. It's my opinion.Cottonmouth85 Thanks this. -

Eh. Working, kids, life in general. But everything is good for the most part. I ordered a new trailer, stainless Great Dane. It's a custom job, ordered it 11 months ago. Hoping to have it by months end. I'll shoot you some pics when it arrives and I get it set up. Got some cool old school stuff I think you, and some other guys on here will appreciate.
Hope things are going alright for you.Cottonmouth85 Thanks this. -

Just Read this and figured it throw in my 2 cents. 3 trucks, two 6nz's and one 1mm. I run the 1mm. The power that engine makes is unbelievable. The 6nz's are cranked up to 550 or so. My high torque 600hp 1mm walks all over them. Any other truck on the road for that matter. Lol
