So there was something wrong with the truck that even the dealership could not find and it's Lone Mountain's fault?
And don't give me the 60 day line.. If they had a 60 day warranty they would have to charge more for the trucks, which means you would have went elsewhere.... You bought the truck knowing there was a 3 day warranty (if you did not that's again on you), unless they lied about it. Part of that low price is stuff like unknowns are simply going to happen and it's a risk you take to save money.
If you want a longer warranty go somewhere that offers one and don't complain about a company that doesn't (or you declined the extra cost if they do)

ALL used trucks from lone mountain come with a free 50,000 mile warranty and longer if YOU want to pay extra it
the 3 days gives you time to find things wrong and if you do they fix it for freeVampire and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -

My purpose in relating my experience with Lone Mountain was to highlight the poor maintenance done by the mega fleets as they are selling the truck off in 3 years. So if the truck blows up in 3 years and 1 day they win.
If it is your dream to buy a used mega fleet truck, then go for it.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -

I know it is owned by Hoovestol. I heard that Wayne owns part of it and the rest is owned by another family member. I do not know that for a fact. I cannot speak for every where they get their trucks. But that is where ours go now. And I can tell you there is no lack of Maintenance before they're sold to Lone Mountain. We have drivers come to the yard all the time to have the odometer checked. I don't hear any of them complaining and I don't hear any of them praising so take it for what it's worth. Truck, car, motorcycle, boat, motorhome, or big wheel, it's always buyer beware.
