Actually no major equipment just fittings and some hazmat suit, since it's iso tankers no pump is needed... I honestly don't know if it was a old man being cranky and wanting to go home and I'm trying to find any driver that has worked or works for them because unless the pay its awesome there's something obviously wrong with them... No owner operator in their right mind will go 3 weeks asking for advances on their own money

That's a little surprising from Liquid Cargo. No ez-pass, holding pay & no training is the most concerning. At very least, they should have a one day in house training session with any new hire, even if he has tank experience. How do you send a new hire out without training him on the basics? I would think they would want to protect their insurance rates and safety score.

when I asked him about training he told me that they used to send their o/o to Jacksonville for a week for training but it was costing them too much so now is learn on the job. even small companies pay next week so I guess they are not really interested in adding owner operators at this point

Talk to Boasso. I know the terminal in Chicago and guys make decent money. It's all ISO, but all out n back work like what you were doing before. I sure they have a plate program, but not sure about ezpass, I can't remember. I have no idea about the pump/comp, but I would imagine they have those type of loads and they pay more.

I spoke to another person from liquid cargo again during their open house and they told me again that there's no training both (linden and quality require 4 days of class room and at least 30 hours of hands-on training before hauling anything by yourself) but claim that Odyssey aka linden bulk give them the high paying loads so I guess Christian companies and lying go hand to hand in this business... Not trying to offend anyone. Boasso is quality carriers intermodal division I can switch later on if I want to but their rates are less than impressive 525 from linden to the Bronx including tolls but minus 108 dollars(ezpass) for the gwb, plus NJ turnpike tolls and dealing with the NYC traffic so we are looking at 300 and some change before fuel and other deductions I don't see it happening for me

I stand corrected then. That sounds awful actually.

IMG_20170505_130959789-3006x4008.jpg I forgot to mentioned linden bulk the first thing that they showed me when I was there it was a lease example which is fair but most of the important questions that I had I was referred to when I get to orientation and the rates to linden to pittsburg is 975 for a 750 mile round trip 1.3 per mile(one way loaded and coming back empty) mind you ports pay 1300(1.7 per mile) from Newark to buffalo roughly the same miles no chemicals and only 5.25 dollars for tolls compare to 20 if you take i80 and gotta deal with dot.. I might be young and still learning but I know numbers and I have been around smart people that have guided me the right way. I also attached the rates posted in their drivers lounge if anyone is interested in seeing it, if having issues reading it let me know and I will send you the original IMG_20170505_130959789-3006x4008.jpg
