That might be why fewer and fewer drivers are running radios these days while erratic driving due to phone use is on the rise. They're too busy checking the apps we have for that now.

They can't talk and drive at the same time, their speed is up and down and they are all over the road. Or a lack of khat among the new canadians is rendering them too tired to drive.
When I'm GRAND POOBAH you'll have your gauge cluster and nothing else.

Not this time. All I could think at the time was that I needed to get that jerk as far behind me as possible. As far as time/location, it was about 19:00 on East bound US 35 in Ohio

Texting while driving is right up there with DUI. Hardly a day doesn't go by without some joker crossing the DY looking down at their phone while coming at me in my lane somewhere.

Penalties are too soft, 1st offense should be 6 points/$1000 fine, 2nd offense in three years, license revoked and $5000 fine....

Passing stopped school buses is another problem, but I digress...

This is a great idea. Penalties are WAY too soft.

And to the nay-sayers whining about how much tome I'l spend on the side of the road, that's fine. Safety has to start somewhere. Might as well start with me. If you want to continue letting the reckless behavior put you, me, & everyone else at risk, then you're just as bad as the texters in my opinion.

Better behind me than in front of me.

I'd rather be stuck behind the wreck he causes than be the one he runs into. :|

I"d rather have the wreck happen so far behind me that I don't even know when it happens

I was always taught to mind my own business. Snitches get Stitches where I come from.
