That might be why fewer and fewer drivers are running radios these days while erratic driving due to phone use is on the rise. They're too busy checking the apps we have for that now.![]()

Texting while driving is right up there with DUI. Hardly a day doesn't go by without some joker crossing the DY looking down at their phone while coming at me in my lane somewhere.
Penalties are too soft, 1st offense should be 6 points/$1000 fine, 2nd offense in three years, license revoked and $5000 fine....

And to the nay-sayers whining about how much tome I'l spend on the side of the road, that's fine. Safety has to start somewhere. Might as well start with me.
