What's up y'all haven't been in here awhile. Just giving a quick update on my situation after being fired from interstate as a owner op in febuary. Im now a company driver a&s kinard based in York pa. Its a good company position pulling containers out of philly home every two days and off weekends. I'm currently saving to go get me a truck from loan mountain which will be in January. But before that i was out of work for march and part of January because a doctor wouldn't pass me for a physical thru forward air. He wouldn't even give me a 3months even tho i never had one. So I had to give up my cure leasing truck which only had two years left on it. I hit rock bottom thru this transition but I'm getting everything back in order now. So things are finally going good again.

 

Frieght into Denver out of Denver sucked balls when it's there half the time I dh to ks other half was 70cpm to Denver ....the freedom board has become the left over crap that nobody wants i.m sure they have some good frieght just don't expect to ever see it

 

That's what I'm beginning to find over the last 2-3 months in the SoCal area.

 

I always to cover myself Get a new physical from my doctor before a new orientation...but I also have an insulin exemption and hate explaining things to new docs if I don't have yo

 

Question, do they pay your way to pick up truck after orientation or do you, also how fast do you get on load board, do you have road test, if so do they take in account automatics

 

Better of going to usa trucking or Schneider. It's not like how it use to be lol

I had a friend that did 8k gross once last year. They had these mars pet care loads in Ohio 40 miles for 10.00 com. He racked up one week on them. But after that they stopped putting them in the board lol. Pointless story lol

 

Lol yea freight was reasonable at one time.

 

It is how they roll soon as there is a lane with any money it goes on company truck and they will try to convince you that 1.10 a mile is a good lane
