Schugel only has a few flats anymore and they are used for a dedicated route ran by a few drivers. I'd go with sapa. The pay will be a hell of a lot better

Knight is getting too big. Scares the crap out of me. And since Heartland just upped their ante by buying Interstate Distributors it looks like a race to see who ends up with them all. I like my small company.
mushroom1464 and born&raisedintheusa Thank this. -
Well everyone I decided to go with knight I've been here since the 13th and I have to say I'm pretty sure I made a huuuuuuuge mistake.... I had to wait around in the hotel for about 7 days for a truck. When I finally got in one it's totally roached! Spring wall in the trans is gone, air horn doesnt work, and the interior has seen better days. Almost 400k on the engine (which isnt nothing for a diesel) but its alot on a 2013 i international with a MAXXFORCE! Come on....
Havent gotten my orientation pay because the orientation facilitator put my direct deposit information in the system. Had to call and change that this morning.
I've ran one load so far and I'm on my second load now. Well I should say I was on my second load. I stopped for my ten last night woke up around 7 and was on the road by 8. I drove 15 minutes down the road before the check engine and stop engine warn came on the truck, just got Into a rest area before the thing cut its self off. Been sitting here ever since. Someone just came to repower my load and take it to NC.
To top all of it off they use this Zonar system which imo is complete trash! Just stick with Qualcomm it's simple and it works. Most drivers are familiar with it. I'm debating giving them my two weeks and going to Schugel. From the day I got I to orientation I was telling myself that I made a mistake the moment they started explaining all the bs rules they have that can get you canned. The week I sat in the hotel I was debating getting a bus ticket and telling them to kick rocks. I thought no, I'll stick it out and see how it goes. Well it's not going anywhere fast! -
Job hopping can hurt you.
