Where can a team make $500+/day?

    We currently make $340/day base pay and 8cpm each for loaded miles. No bonus for deadhead which accounts for a lot of the miles we drive. Are there any companies where a team can regularly make $500 or more per day?

    I hear OD floated around a lot. Have you looked at them?
    I would look now at weekly revenue, since I would hope you aren't working every single day, all the time.

    I was doing that solo as a company driver flatbedding. That's not counting the 16cpm you get. But I got $35 a night for being in my sleeper, and that wasn't counted as against my per diem.

    We work 5 to 6 days a week but get the daily minimum every day we are out. OD wants you to run a gazillion miles and has lots of terminals. We specialize in Hazmat and DOD so have to wait sometimes to unload. If we had to do 5500 miles or more a week all the time we would go nuts.

    Well I mean no offense but miles is generally how teams get the money. That's the whole point of teams. If you are just dropping and hooking, 5500+ miles a week should be a cake walk for a team.

    Its never just dropping and hooking, at least not when we were with Watkins/Shepard. Hours waiting for a load to be ready, some live unloads or multiple stops, neverending fatigue. I like our current company, just wondering if there are teams making a lot more and if so where? There needs to be a lot more sharing of compensation packages on TTR.

    I Make 1500-2000 a week at fedex ground and get Saturday night - Tuesday morning off I know other LTL companies pay more or the same but they're all running 5500+ miles
