The key is making a loop, either closing it with the binder, or using the binder to pull the loop to something else.
And you can use load straps, you just have to pull in opposing directions. Dealing with the excess can be a pain though.passingthru69, snowman_w900, johndeere4020 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I think either 4 chains each on each corner, or 4 straps each corner plus 2 chains like I had them.
They are honestly more stress than they are worth.
I mean maybe 4 chains at each corner. Dunnage or blocking at the wheels. Straps on the tongue. Just to keep the dang things from walking.SAR, Zeviander, snowman_w900 and 2 others Thank this. -
