Maybe. Maybe not. Would you have a good story to tell me about how you ended up way out here needing to camp out for the night?

The cop may very well care and agree with the driver. And he still has to assist the property owner in his request to remove the trespassing driver. Up to and including tickets and towing if need be.

That is why you should always be professional and reasonable with cops. Sometimes they will negotiate you out of a problem with a rightfully annoyed complainant. Usually people want the problem resolved without having to go to court.

It sounds to me like David handled the situation ok. But the key is to not find yourself in that situation if at all possible.

True that. I was parked at a Walmart where one manager said yes and then went home, the next manager came on duty and informed me via the police and a tow truck that I had to move. I explained the situation to the cop and the manager. The cop told me to put on my 4 ways and stay in a low gear. He then escorted me to his friend's store and his friend agreed to let me park there for 10 bucks. I didn't even start my clock to move. I also gave that store more than 10 dollars in business. He said I was welcome to park there any time.

Yeah, but the situation you described is a growing problem. A HUGE problem at that.

You've got the approval, So you go to sleep - as you should. But because the minimum wage managers at sprawl mart don't communicate you have to sweet talk your way out of a tow job in the middle of the night.

    It's a frustrating situation.

    Lol, elogs...

Can't you just run paper and disregard the #### e log? That's what I used to do, I'd never even log in. My boss never said a thing.
