What truck stops to avoid?

That place has a good bar/restaurant across the street and the pizza place across the street is also good. Never went into the strip club

 

The pilot in Milford Connecticut that place is crazy. The line for the feul islands backs up down the road from the entrance to the truck stop.

 

The Sinclair on 76 in atwood CO or something like that. You'll know it because they have a cafe and garbage bags over the urinal. It's not far into Colorado from Nebraska.

 

Looks like a cluster bomb went off there!

 

I get more and more annoyed with "worlds largest" on I80 every dang time I stop through there. It's like one of those blue lights that attract all the bugs , everything is magnified here , the parking shenanigans , the fuel pump disco, the war stories at the lunch counter , the drama on the porch, the idiots at the maintenance desk #####ing about oil change prices .....

 

At least I can always find parking when I roll in at 2am and there is a real place to eat.

 

No doubt , that is very true , I was just venting lol, spent 10 there last night, and it was a bigger sh1tshow than usual ....guess I'm either getting old and cranky , or just cranky lol.....but each time I come through , I get more and more annoyed .

Oh , and I met a USATruck driver who had been there a week with no load , he was #####ing and #####ing , his Qualcomm apparently went down , and instead of going on paper logs , he decided to wait for a QC mobile repair company to be dispatched to fix it .....I have never ever heard of such a thing , and there is a QC repair facility right down the road from there ........baffled my mind how some drivers gotta be like this instead of being proactive and driving to the QC shop and getting it worked out there

 

Wtf man. What an idiot...it's not like the company made him do that. He just did it to himself.

I'm sure he doesn't even know how to fill out a log book. Dude can't think for himself he needs a computer to do it for him.

Last time I was there there was a transvestite crst driver taking their 30 at pump 7...

 

After 1 DAY, That driver should have simply made it clear- Either get me a load NOW-Or Pay me $175 per day to sit-(In Writing)........No Backbone for what's right- You got bills to pay-Family to support etc- And your gonna sit their Moping about it. Just boggles the mind.

It coulda been 1 of those "Ehh,I don't really need the work,I'm homeless,No Family, Live in the Truck.....So It don't matter.

 

He had that entitled young buck super truck vibe to him , he was standing his ground and there wasn't anyone who was gonna tell him he was wrong
