Depends on your company. Some companies just service porta potties. Others do septic tanks, ponds, all sorts of things. Oddly, I've never met septic guy who complained about his job. They all seem pretty chill.

    crb and Goodguy88 Thank this.

no you don't have to climb in!we were doing a job where they had to replace the liner at a plant.septic tanks you just find the lid open up and put hose in and pump out not a big deal.

Might as well give it a go, for the experience if nothing else. And hey, at least when you show up, the customers would be happy to see you! That's not always the case with your standard trucking job.

It only pays about 12/hr where i'm at in DFW. Essentially a job for repeat felons(no offense), or people with an mvr too trashed to work elsewhere.

    Goodguy88 Thanks this.

I will take it if it happens to work out....tired of being told I didn't get the job

    That's why I'm considering this

Will be eating and servicing at same time like banana guy.

Why can't you find something else?
Are you a new driver with little or no experience trying to stay local?

If that's the case , suck it up, pun intended, and gain all the experience you can doing something less desirable now to open better doors down the road .

I'm a big "go OTR" for at least 6 months to a year , sacrifice the time now , as it really does open doors for you later .......
