Ok so It's been awhile since I updated stuff about my experience here at Schneider so here I go. I had what I thought was a horrible week this week but actually isn't too bad I guess. So I left for work on Monday which was July 31st I believe. Things were good till a load I really wanted going from Chicago to Laredo tx got scratched due to trailer failed a pressure test. Well I sit off duty for like 19 hours then and then the next day I sit off duty for like 17 hours waiting to load at 0300 in morning. So I figured my pay check was trashed right. Well i took that to Keasby nj and did a turn and burn back to Chicago where I sit now. Well for the week I my pay statement is 1,354 and I just made 369 for driving back to Chicago. So it wasn't a good week but nothing to be upset over which I was few days ago. So the total is 1754 for Monday 31st at 10am till Monday 7th at 10am. I can go to work tonite at 10 pm since I been running nights lately but here's the problem. I got home time for Friday. Well now I'm told I got a load that doesn't load till tomorrow at noon that go's to South Carolina, I live in NC now this is so I get home for sure but it will kill this week pay. Cause layover pay is only 65 bucks which I will get for sitting here till tomorrow till I can get loaded but if I work a full day I make 300. But this is because I gotta go home and I'm not a fan of staying out on the road over 12 days anymore. Still doing good here at snbc and over all like it here but when you have home time sometimes it will bite you in the ###. Not always though.. anyways I try to tell it like it is and how I see it. One thing for certain things could be worst or maybe better you just never know

How are we neck in neck for our yearly gross so far, when you're blowing me out of the water with your gross? Did you have a few rough months in the beginning of the year? This week's paycheck going to suck because I couldn't turn in today's trip because my dispatcher couldn't be bothered to plan me Friday, for Monday. Our trips either end at a tank wash or the last customer if you don't need one. But since I dont know where I'm going, and today is the payroll cut off date. So thats almost $500 off this week.

I think they're in a panic because I asked to come home. I should have some friends call them like they're employers researching my resume.

@19d - i may not be reading this correctly, but are you stating that essentially Schneider made you take a 34 hr reset ? Due to a trailer malfunction ?

My checks have been under 1k gross, i might as well go local. My loads are all messed up. Bad trailers, missing taillights, bad bulbs, leaking valves, incorrect times, one thing after another...

@Tanker312 - Curious, are you Regional or OTR ?

I start school end of this month and gathering info on possible employers -

19d does a great job of posting both the ups and downs on this thread!
As i see others chime in with SNBC i am seeing that some do not make quite as much - just trying to figure out if this is Regional vs OTR thing ... or is it more tied to one's place that they are dispatched from ?
    Thanks!

The trailer was messed up so that load didn't happen, I had been waiting all day to go get it. When I got to tank wash and the prep wasn't on trailer I had to get it done but it failed pressure testing, so the next. I got a load the next morning. It wasn't anybody's fault just stuff happens every now and then u can't plan for. I been out 8 days so far and haven't got a 34 restart. I try not too, I'm only working 12 days so I will scratch for hours on recap till I get home

34 hour resets are just the worst thing ever to me.. I'm pretty high strung and can't stand staying anywhere for that long. It drives me nuts

I'm not sure bout avg miles per week because I never keep up with it, it's pretty easy to do 1500 plus a week if your 49cpm or higher. I've found it best to look at monthly gross though. I'm averaging 5400 - 5800 month with 7 sometimes 8 days at home. I run dayvor nite though and go hard.
