Im not moving vans often enough to justify the beast on my roof.
Other than a ladder and a storage space, is there anything I need to know about removing the air dams from my Volvo?
Thanks in advance
Removing the fairings from a '12 Volvo daycab- anything I should be prepared for?

If that is all you remove, you need a shorter bridge.
Driver0000 Thanks this. -

It's a joke.. Chicago Volvos and bridges
Driver0000 Thanks this. -
My Volvo is white,
If that makes a difference -
I wouldn t have said that it is white. A white Volvo gets a bad rap on here especially if its based out of Chicago. They get the bad rap of being unsafe and driven by European and Russian drivers
passingthru69 and Driver0000 Thank this. -
If it matters: my white Volvo is driven by a white guy. Not that that should matter.
It's a daycab. And I'm in the southeast. Not that that should matter either.
As far as immigrants driving big trucks go; only insecure misfits would make fun of them. In my OTR experience, Eastern European drivers I've met were just working to feed their families and there's no shame in that.
In fact, I don't think I've ever come across an Eastern European holding a 'Veteran, please give me money' sign on an exit ramp. They must all be busy working.
However, there's a hell of a lot of white trash working exit ramps for cash. Maybe some of you OTR truckers need to keep better tabs on your offspring.
I don't know. I'm just a dumb trucker.nax, ZVar, BoostedTeg and 1 other person Thank this.
