Yeah but generally speaking, staying out 3 weeks and going home for a few is quite a bit different than working all week for a 34 reset and back at it. It's exhausting.

I've talked to a 1099 driver that ran from Ohio to Texas and back every week, on paper and as quick as he could.
    Probably a sweet run

I have done only five loads on a pneumatic. Plastic pellets. .I hated it. Noisy, slow process, dusty, heavy fittings and hoses.
But I did try it... Only way you will know which situation is best for you is trying it out.

Seems like a decent deal, depending on the amount of traffic you expect on the route. And if they offer a pay guarantee if for some reason the sand manufacturer is closed, customer is closed, multiple trucks are down etc.

He was against elogs big time. He said he got to the yard, hopped in his truck, did a anytime drop and hook and went right back to the yard .
If he had to log legal that was less time at home for him.

He had easy job with D&H.Depending on where in TX he was going to he could probably do another run.But I wonder ,you said you doing 2100 miles a week. That's 3 easy days of work without even fudging a log book. What do you for the remaining 4 days?

    Cottonmouth85 Thanks this.
