Start reading all those urgent messages from safety. I bet you can't get through three.

Lavender scent spray, download a white noise app and play one of the pleasing sound through your aux Jack on the truck stereo to mask the sounds of other trucks, I like the jet airplane sound and have also experimented with the binural sounds, black out the truck, make it cold, a few deep breaths and BOOM alarm is going off.

That's no joke. I was flipped over to nights a couple weeks back and some how or another my Qualcomm volume was all the way up. About 2 hours into my slumber DING!!!!!! It was a message on the importance of getting enough sleep.

    Benadryl for your allergies
Wears off in 6 hours maximum
You have to try to sleep or it won't be effective
Do not take it unless you are doing at least an 8 hour break.

I have a hard time closing my eyes for a short duration sleep. I always feel like I'll miss the alarm and then the appointment. I only try if I know it's at least 5 or 6 hours of shut eye. And stop looking at any screens! 45 minutes is average time to fall asleep after looking at screens.

Technology emits lighting that is destructive to your sleep and sleep cycle. You would need to put away your laptop, gaming, cellphone and any type of modern LCD or newer screens a few hours prior to sleep.

You cannot have that smoking, coffee etc anything that stimulates your system prior to sleep.

You should already have a good idea what puts you towards sleep, for me it's reading. It's no trouble at all after a few minutes in a book of some kind. The manual to your tractor is a good start. Dry enough to induce a little nap. Then that becomes a proper sleep. And you are that much ahead on your tractor etc.

Ultimately it's a kitty or a detriot in big horse at idle or medium to high idle. It's a huge z generator. 1000 rpm would do it. Some engines would generate the same down at 800 or so.

I had a box with a hole in it for the cabling. QC went into the box when it's time to sleep. It can ding until the end of time (And has....) and I won't know it until it's time to get up.

Light a scented candle and break out the good lotion and treat yourself.

stay way from any and all caffeinated beverages about 5 hours before your normal bed time.

shut down all noises, like the cb radio, and AM/FM radio, but maybe find a station that is all "white noise only"..if you want/need the a/c on. do so. maybe that fan noise will let you fall asleep.

do not eat anything with lots of sugar either.
