    No dice. The lady was actually kind of rude. She said they don't accept those types of Calls and non employees can not talk to the hiring manager or contact them in any way. This was for the Southaven, MS terminal.

    I am very surprised at that. Another way to get your foot in the door is to get hired on to work the docks. That will get your name in front of the right people and they start out at a pretty decent pay for what it is. Dock to driver is how we get a lot of our drivers. Good luck!

    I'm going to go apply for that too. I did that everywhere except Estes and ODFL

    I have a nephew trying to get hired for the dock. App in, now he's playing the waiting game. I don't know if it's consistent company wide, but Indy dock starts at 18/hr.

    Anybody work out of the Springfield, MO terminal? I've applied online for the part-time dock position. I'm thinking about going to the terminal tomorrow to see if I can talk to the TM. I have a CDL-A, but no recent experience.
