Once you get used to the Western Star, you'll never wanna go back. They do have their quirks, as any truck does, but overall, they're the nicest riding truck I've ever driven. And yes, the dash could be brought into the 21st century...

 

This thread was started 2 years ago. I'm curious how's things now? I'm interested in powerplus. I got my own dot and mc number based in Atlanta. How much they pay for powerplus now?

 

If I run with my own authority. Do I get more than 65%?
Do I have an access to load board like other O/O do?

 

You're pretty much get whatever Schneider decides they'll tell you a certain percentage for that percentage generally is a percentage of what they want to give you and the way Schneider been manipulating rates for the last six to eight months I wouldn't waste my time

 

Sounds like you don't work for schnieder anymore

 

Ic's are bailing at record #'s too..

 

And that's before trying to negotiate a better rate
