    Or Illinois is my guess.

I wouldn't contact anyone Boy Wander. I would use it for what it's supposed to be. A wake up call that you need to get legal, like right now from this day forward. You can thank me later.

Started out in 1987 with a Cabover Kenworth, 1973 K100. No power nothing, Dayton wheels with 10:00-20 bias ply.
30 yrs later I'm setting here at the Petro in Perrysburg, OH in a 95 W900L with power steering :) But haven't got around to buying the much needed a/c compressor so no a/c lol. Thank goodness for them fans! Most comfortable Cabover I drove was the aerodyne KW. I'd drive one today.

They can't enter your truck unless you give them permission, or they have reasonable suspicion you've committed a crime.

"Sorry, officer, but I don't consent to searches." If he insists, ask for his watch commander, badge number, and name. Take out your phone and start recording. Ask him again, while recording, "Are you telling me that you are searching my truck without a warrant? What is your probable cause?"

Did that in Oneida, TN one night. Boy what a night it turned out to be. Within 10 mins I had 6 cops, a couple local yocals, and county. No state boys. They decided to run the drug dog around my truck when I refused. Now anyone with a brain knows what a drug dog does when they hit on something. That dog never did a thing but wag his tail while walking around the truck and trailer. The officer stopped by my drivers side door and stopped and said, the dog just hit on something here, and now I have probable cause to enter your cab. I told the officer that was holding me, with his hand on his gun, still in the holster, that it was BS and he knows it. They took my phone, so no recording. I knew I was going to jail via the railroad way these "good 'ol boys" were doing. To make this already too long story short, yes there is more, I was cleared to leave. This whole thing took over 3 hours. It was cold out and they wouldn't even let me get a coat. They even put the dog in the reefer with a load of produce, which I thought was illegal and even said so. They said, "we didn't do that". I could go on but you get the jist of the story. Install cameras in the truck. Everywhere. And put stickers on door stating there are recording at all times. Best thing I've done.

I can use some advice, I'm basically planning on doing the same as you getting a truck and leasing it onto a company and hiring a driver,. I got my eyes on 2 companies that I like so far, but my question is how do you pay your driver, and how do you keep your driver. Any info is appreciated, I may want to join your network, that's how we can grow is by networking .thanks

Iowa and Arizona are best at inviting themselves to truck cabins without too much of a formal ceremony. This is where I got busted too, long time ago. I was i my 30s at the time too - capable of running 1000 miles a day ha ha! The key thing in fudging log books is to always hide or get rid of receipts and leave only those that match log book entries. Even fuel receipts they can call and check for fueling times. The fuel desk clerks sometimes refuse or are not sure how to check on that but some know how to do it and report it promptly. Anyway, the craft of log book fudging is about to end.
