To bad there's less than a handful of places to get a hand written receipt anymore. With all of the license plate readers and facial recognition cameras anymore, it's gonna be a ##### to get away with much.

It's been that way for years, but if everything looks good, they don't usually dig that deep, that's all I'm saying. As long as fuel receipts match, I avoid tolls so that's not an issue, and our BOL's don't have times and dates, they usually won't go through the trouble of pulling traffic cams and junk like that unless you really "F'ed" up something. I take the weeks of target enforcements off, don't want to give them the satisfaction.

I am sorry I forgot about that. There are good sides of fudging too. Makes a man a little more masculine, not such a compliant pusssy all the time, in my opinion. The problem is when you get busted, makes you feel somewhat imperfect. LOL
I hope there will be ways to fudge elogs too. Until the current HOS has been reformed. At least until14 hours limit, the invention of ignorant idiots, has been abolished.

I don't worry about them finding much if anything on a regular inspection. But if you were ever involved in a serious accident there's a dang good chance they will find out the real truth. Statistically, the vast majority of us will ever have to worry about that either.

Is that really true though? That a falsified log book is like a statutory rape, you are unconditionally guilty in whatever bad happens.

If it works out that you shouldn't have been there at that time legally, then yes.

Quote:"FOUND A SMALL HOS VIOLATION FROM 2 DAYS AGO".
This kind of stuff was happening to me too when I was using paper log.
Still remember cool SD DOT lady "You only marked 15 min break but obviously you did 30,right driver?" "Yes ma'am I certainly did".
